I can’t say enough wonderful things about this practitioner and her office staff! Both my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Blackburn for about 2 years maybe a little longer. From the first appointment I felt welcomed,heard,safe & well taken care of! Kim is a complete joy and Dr. Blackburn is so very kind and genuinely cares for all of her patients! I initially started seeing Dr. B when all of our fertility treatments failed. I had read the that adjustments help with fertility and overall health in general. During this time Dr. B has got me to a point where my neck issues aren’t as severe, migraines are managed better after seeing her and we’re PREGNANT! She’s also very knowledgeable in areas of holistic health, also she doesn’t promote or practice it, she’s very helpful and her guidance is incredibly helpful. She’s such an amazing chiropractor in so many ways. My husband works a very strenuous physical job and he has neck and back issues. As soon as he’s finished getting adjusted by Dr. B he feels almost immediately better and can go at least several weeks without an adjustment (I go at least 1-2 times per week myself). Mike was a miracle worker – about 8 months ago I was on the verge of having to have back surgery. I couldn’t work nor handle the pain I was in. People recommended surgery but then I heard Mike had a laser therapy that may help. In desperation I called and they got me in that day. I was unsure and skeptical but after 30 mins with a laser therapy – I walked out changed. It wasn’t totally healed but I was significantly impacted. After 5 or 6 sessions – I was good as new. I have since gone back sporadically when I mess up my back doing stupid heavy lifting things awkwardly and mess it up again. Time and again they come through. I won’t go anywhere else!

Art of Health Chiropractic was recommended to me by a coworker after throwing out my back, for your typical “I’m stupid and lifted with my back practice”. Having never done cold laser therapy, I was a little skeptical at first, but anything to make the pain less would be worth it. It took my recover time down by half or more. The few times I’ve experienced similar back pain, it would result in a month or more before I felt one hundred percent. With a few visits in the matter of two weeks I was close to normal. The treatments might not fix it right away, but it drastically speeds up the recovery time. Not to mention the amount of items Cold Laser Therapy treats.

Amazing first visit! Will be going to Dr. Blackburn from now on! I’ve been seeing chiropractors for over 30 years and Dr. Blackburn ranks among the highest, if not the BEST. She is caring and explains everything to you. She wants to fix the root of the issue and not just adjust you and send you on your way. She cares about her patients and their well-being. I came to Art of Health Chiropractic on the recommendation of a friend. She had been receiving cold laser therapy for a foot injury. I was a bit skeptical, but was willing to try by observing her progress over just a few sessions. 6 months prior to my first visit with Dr. Mike I had broken my shoulder. Though the break had healed the area was inflamed and the symptoms mimicked a rotator cuff injury, and wasn’t getting any better with time – I was stuck. I could not lift my arm up to turn on the radio of the car without an assist from my other arm, nor could I put my arm behind my back – just to name a couple of examples. I did two sessions a week for a month. After the second session I could turn on the radio – no assist, no pain, no weakness. After 4 sessions I could tie an apron behind my back, after 7 sessions my shoulder was 100% and had increased 40 degrees range of motion in three areas. My PT was astonished!! (to see if the cold laser was going to work, I didn’t do any PT during the month of the sessions) I can’t say how grateful I am for this remarkable, painless treatment!! I ran into a veterinarian friend recently and she told me that vets have been using cold laser successfully on animal injuries for many years. I’ve been continuing with the therapy on various arthritic joints with improvements weekly! I told Dr. Mike if he ever invents a cold laser booth – I’ll be first in line : )

Before meeting with Dr. Blackburn, I had been suffering for over a year with severe back pain. I now have been going to see her for over 6 months, and she has truly changed my life. We have established a wonderful game plan and I look forward to each visit I have with her. I highly recommend Art of Health, you will not be disappointed.
