Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts and as a science is based on the premise that good health depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system.
Body structures such as cells and organs function by the impulses carried through the nerves.  When these nerve impulses travel unhampered, the organs and cells of the body are able to function normally.  When there is an interference (causing too much or not enough nerve supply), the tissues or organs cannot function properly and a state of malfunction may begin, predisposing the body to a disease state.
The doctor of chiropractic does not utilize drugs or surgery in his practice.  However, there are times when he will recommend that you consult another practitioner if other methods of treatment are needed.

Dr. Keith B. Graves, BS, DC, CCSP, CKTP
has a BS in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.

He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certified by the American Chiropractic Associations Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner by the Kinesio Taping Association. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Tennessee Chiropractic Association.

A word from the Doctor…
Thank you for your interest in our Chiropractic practice. I truly enjoy the experience of meeting new patients and improving their health and well-being. I have been in practice since 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee, and located in Berry Hill since 2000.

We strive to offer a comfortable environment for those individuals who are new to chiropractic care and may be a bit apprehensive. It is very important to us that your experience with Chiropractic care at our office be a positive one.

Not every patient responds the same to Chiropractic care, because of this I set up initial treatment plans in small increments (generally 6 visits) to determine if the care is meeting all of our expectations. Most patients report some level of improvement within this time frame and we continue with the treatment. If the care is not meeting our expectations, I then re-evaluate the treatment plan and current condition. I may utilize a number of doctors and other health care practitioners in the event a second opinion is needed.

If I am not convinced at the outset that my care will meet a potential patient’s expectations or help their condition, I will elect to not take the case.
